HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 2018 ANNUAL MEETING
In a very personal and transparent Annual Meeting address, The Reverend Ryan Newman, reflected on 2017 and set a course for All Saints' in 2018 to actively engage in the work of renewal and reaffirmation, especially during the Rector's sabbatical period.
"Too often, I believe clergy are not transparent enough with their congregations," said Rev. Ryan. "Usually what happens, a priest holds in most of their stress, frustration, anger, and disappointment until a breaking point—and when that breaking point comes about—usually the clergyperson leaves his or her congregation with little or no notice. I don’t want that to happen here at All Saints’."
Rev. Ryan prayed that 2018 be a profound year of reflection, renewal, and reaffirmation for All Saints'.
