Bishop Chang is not a stranger to Kauai, nor to All Saints'. In 1970, he was made Archdeacon for the Island of Kauai, a post he held until 1974. From 1970-79, he was the Rector of All Saints'. He also served as priest-in-charge of Christ Memorial Church, Kilauea, and St. Thomas' Church, Hanalei, from 1973-1979.
"They were thrilled to be back on Kauai," said Marge Akana. "It brought back many good memories for them and I was amazed at how many names they both remembered."

In 2016, Bishop Chang celebrates his fiftieth year of ordained ministry. He was ordained a deacon on March 5, 1966 and was ordained a priest on September 4, 1966. 2016 also begins the 20th year of Bishop Chang's consecration as the fourth Bishop of Hawaii.
Mahalo to Bishop Chang for being with us and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ! Congratulations on 50 years of ordained ministry!
