Program and Curriculum Overview
At All Saints' we believe the keiki (children) are the future of the Church! We are called by God to support, nurture, and empower their future in the Church! This is a responsibility that is be shared by the whole congregation, not just by a few individuals and not just by the parents/guardians of our current keiki. We are guided by the "Children's Charter" of the Episcopal Church.
Sunday School is available for keiki 3 years old through 5th grade.
WHEN SUNDAY SCHOOL OCCURS
All Saints' Sunday School meets in Memorial Hall during our Sunday 9:30AM service. The conclusion of Sunday School coincides with the "exchange of peace" in our worship. Sunday School students join their families for the celebration of Holy Eucharist.
All Saints' utilizes Weaving God's Promises as the foundation of our Sunday School curriculum. Weaving God’s Promises is a comprehensive, three-year Christian education curriculum for children developed and written exclusively for the Episcopal Church. It is a program with a shared scope and sequence as well as common Episcopal content.
The "Mission" of Weaving God's Promises:
Each Sunday Session is designed to offer each teacher and classroom to a wide variety of effective and classroom-tested lesson plans and activities.
Through our Sunday School program, All Saints' hope and vision is that each child entrusted to our care:
