Clergy:

New Priest in Charge: The Rev. Stephen Whaley
(Beginning February 1, 2026)

​We are overjoyed to share the exciting news that the Vestry has selected and called the Reverend Stephen Whaley to serve as our Priest-in-Charge.  Fr. Stephen has accepted this call, and the Letter of Agreement has been officially signed. Plans are underway to welcome Fr. Stephen and his wife, Kate, by February 1, 2026. 

Fr. Stephen comes to Kaua‘i from St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham, Texas, where he has faithfully served as Rector, guiding the parish with pastoral sensitivity, faithful preaching, stewardship leadership, and a spirit of gratitude.

​Ordained in the Diocese of Texas in 2003, Fr. Stephen earned his Master of Divinity from The University of the South, Sewanee, and holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. Over the past two decades, he has served congregations in Kingwood, Nacogdoches & Center, and Stafford, bringing clarity, compassion, and creativity to parish life.
