EDUCATION/FORMATION
All Saints’ thrives as a center of spiritual formation, family-centered ministries, early-childhood education, social activism, and community outreach. The Episcopal Church is rooted in the historic teachings of Jesus Christ and nourished by thoughtful engagement with the Christian Holy Scriptures. Worship, grounded in the Book of Common Prayer, is at the heart of who we are as a community of faith and seeks to honor the values of tradition, inclusivity, and transformation. All educational ministries are open to anyone with a willing heart and an open mind. Church members are encouraged to bring their friends, visitors are invited to join during their stay, and strangers are welcome to learn more about and reflect on their faith. OUTREACH
Members of All Saints' are committed to serving the community through a variety of programs and partnerships with other organizations. A number of grants fund many of the family-oriented activities that are offered free to the community. There are also opportunities for local businesses and groups to rent the premises for their classes and special events. To learn more about our Outreach ministries, click on the button below. |
PASTORAL CARE
The ministry of caring is at the heart of the church's life. It may include hospital visitation, counseling, prayer, and ministries of shared presence, listening, and support. Pastoral care can also refer to parish ministries of clergy and laity who respond to human need. To learn more about our different pastoral care programs, click on the button below. |
STEWARDSHIP
"Our money is one of the most powerful and honest symbols of what we offer to God and to the church. It is one of the truest ways we can understand what we value and what we believe. Faithful, selfless and generous giving invites into a deeper relationship with God and our money. And it requires us to do the hard, but essential work of looking deep within to discover what we truly value, what we consider most precious." - The Rev. Sarah Fisher is rector of St. Catherine’s Church in Marietta, Georgia and is a former member of the Board of Directors for TENS. |
WORSHIP MINISTRY
Members in the All Saints' Worship Ministry share their time, talent, and energy to serve the Church with loving care and commitment, so that we may continue to gather together in praise of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Worship Ministry consists of Acolytes, Altar Guild, Choir, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Lay Readers and Ushers. The following "behind-the-scenes" ministries are essential to church life and the care of our campus. If you'd like to volunteer and be a part of one of these important ministries, contact the church office or ministry leader shown.
HOSPITALITY & FELLOWSHIP
Hospitality at All Saints' includes the "finest coffee hour" on the island . . . OUR ALOHA HOUR . . . at least that's what we like to think as we welcome members and visitors to stay after the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service and fellowship over delicious refreshments under the tree. Members take turns bringing snacks and pastries, and there is always juice and a hot pot of coffee waiting. The Hospitality Committee is involved with organizing the refreshments served up at most church activities including a great annual Fourth of July picnic with several barbecues going at once! MONDAY CREW
The Monday Crew is a group of dedicated members who service the church every Monday. They ensure the buildings remain clean, organized, well stocked with supplies, and maintained for regular use on Sundays. Some members help organize the weekly donations and others ensure the graveyard and Columbarium remain clean and tidy in respect for those who have passed on. Many members of the Monday Crew are also Altar Guild members. This helps them identify items that need to be restocked for Sunday Services. After a job well done, they sometimes enjoy fellowship together with light refreshments. Ministry Leader: Dee Grigsby |
OFFICE ANGELS
The Office Angels are men and women who want to contribute to the church by volunteering their time and energy to miscellaneous office tasks. Doing so helps lighten the load of the priest and church administrator so they may focus on tasks that need greater attention. Each shift is 3 hours long. No prior experience needed! We train all our volunteers and only assign tasks that are easy to accomplish such as answering phones and taking messages, filing papers, and greeting walk-in guests. You may volunteer as many or as little days as you'd like. We appreciate any help you are able to provide! Ministry Leader: Netta White |
